During the summer of 2014 K•A•C was pleased to host Leon Kośmider as part of the EU Erasmus scheme for young scientists. Leon Kośmider is from Institute of Occupational Medicine and Environmental Health in Sosnowiec, Poland. He is a pharmacist and a PhD student at the Department of Pharmacy in the Laboratory Medicine Unit of the Silesian University. His research focuses on the analysis of tobacco smoke, risks associated with using traditional cigarettes and e-cigarettes, and the toxicity of smoke and aerosol. He is an author or co-author of 40 academic conference speeches and 14 publications.
